Guided by professional Peruvian chefs, you’ll also craft two beloved Peruvian cocktails, including the world-famous Pisco Sour. Experience the Flavors of Peru in Just 2 Hours – Pisco Tasting & Cooking Class in Cusco
Discover Peru’s rich culinary heritage in this immersive 2-hour cooking class in Cusco. Start with a guided pisco tasting, then learn how to craft two iconic Peruvian cocktails: the Pisco Sour and Chilcano de Pisco. Next, dive into the preparation of two of Peru’s most famous dishes—fresh ceviche and Lomo Saltado made with alpaca—using traditional techniques and local ingredients. Perfect for food lovers and cultural explorers looking for an authentic Peruvian cooking experience in a short time.
STEP 1: THE MEETING
Chef and participant introductions.
STEP 2: A SEA OF FLAVORS
Our first dish will be a delicate Peruvian ceviche made using fresh coastal fish with a mix of local ingredients that make it unique and unforgettable.
STEP 3: PISCO O’CLOCK
During this step we will enjoy Peru’s prized liquor while learning its intriguing history. To finish this step we will prepare our Pisco Sour and Chilcano de Pisco.
STEP 4: WOK-ING TIME
After the demonstration and instruction given by our Chef all of the participants will prepare their Lomo Saltados utilizing wok sauteeing techniques. We will then enjoy our meal and provide the recipes of the dishes prepared during the class.
