Day 1     We can start from Cusco or Sacred Valley / Ollantaytambo Train Station / Aguas Calientes

Day 2     Aguas Calientes / Ollantaytambo / Transfer to Cusco or the Sacred Valley Hotel

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Cusco or Sacred Valley – Train Station – Aguas Calientes

We transfer you from your hotel to train station in Poroy/Ollantaytambo (dependent on train availability) where you board your train to Aguas Calientes.  Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes a Representative from the Hotel will meet you and transfer to the hotel.  You have the rest of day at leisure!

In the early evening your guide will come to your hotel to introduce himself and explain the schedule for Day 2.

Day 2 Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco or Sacred Valley

As early as 05:30AM you can take the bus up to Machu Picchu for Sunrise!  You can decide the departure time with your guide.

Our specialist guide will take you on a fascinating guided tour in the ruins, lasting approximately 2 hours, visiting the most important Temples, i.e. the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, Temple of the Pachamama (Mother Earth), and Temple of the Intihuatana, which served as a place to study the constellations, the solstices and equinoxes. After the tour you have leisure time in Machupicchu / Aguas Calientes.  In the afternoon you will return to Poroy/Ollantaytambo via train (dependent on train availability).  We will meet you at the Train Station and transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco or Sacred Valley.

We offer Machu Picchu as private service to all our clients. Our prices are based on the amount of persons traveling!

Rates are subject to Low & High Season:

Low Season: 1st January – March and 15 November – 20 December

High Season: 1st April – 14 November and 21st December – 31st December

• Single Room Supplement – US$40 per room
• Entrance to Huaynapicchu – the permit cost is US$17 per person which is payable in advance so we can secure permits.  For this program we need to obtain the 10-11 departure permit slot. PERMITS ARE LIMITED!!

If you want to climb Huaynapicchu Mountain please let us know in advance as permits are limited.  The cost is US$17 per person and we purchase the entrance of 10-11am in order not to forfeit the tour of Machu picchu.  The guide does not accompany you on this excursion.
