Sacred Valley Hotels

Munay Tika Hostal

Munay Tika means jungle flower in Quechua. This hotel is a good mid range choice in Ollantaytambo with a large garden filled with flowers. Located on the road to the train station (yet protected by a big wall) the hotel has mostly large, spacious rooms with exposed wooden beams, rustic rugs (mantas) and verandahs that add to the atmosphere.

El Albergue Bed & Breakfast

On the train platform, this romantic pit stop exudes Andean charm. Surrounded by green lawns with lush flowerbeds, tasteful tile rooms feature dark hardwood trim, tapestries and quality linens in an early 20th century building. There’s portable heaters, games for kids and sauna access. It’s 800m (all uphill) from the village center but there’s an excellent on-site restaurant. CONTACT US

La Casona de Yucay

Casona de Yucay offers 51 spacious, comfortable, and welcoming rooms to its guests: 37 standard rooms (singles, doubles, triples and quadruples), 12 superior rooms (singles and doubles) and 2 suites (king bed or family suite). As a matter of historical interest, room 36, on the 2nd floor, opening onto the patio of the original Casona, was used in 1825 by the Great Liberator, Simon Bolivar, who also announced several decrees from the balcony that faces the Plaza. The majority of our rooms have wooden floors and plenty of window space offering panoramic views of the mountains and the hotel gardens, allowing our guests to enjoy the peace, tranquility and natural beauty of the countryside.
